What You Will Know More About Me?
Hi there! I’m Le Jay Sardido. I am a graduate of a bachelor’s degree, and I have received some awards during my college years. Two months after my graduation, I applied to a BPO company. I have been working as a customer service representative, and one of my duties was to perform inbound and outbound calls or simply obtain client information by answering telephone calls. I also handled email support for applicants who wanted to have a U.S. Visa for entry to the United States. I can answer calls while doing email at the same time without compromising work productivity, as I can multitask and provide the right resolution for the customers. The tools that we’ve been using before are Ring Central and Vicidial.
After that, I started learning different skills on how to become a virtual assistant, and luckily, after a year, I started applying for online jobs. My first client was US-based, and the name of the company was SF Dev Shop, where I performed various administrative tasks, including email management, creating graphics, data entry, and social media management. Some of the tools that I have used are Slack, Notion, Asana, Canva, and social media tools like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. After that, I became an Amazon product researcher for 3 months, starting in September 2022 and ending in November 2022. I am in charge of doing product research for his Amazon store, and I make sure the product that I research will be profitable for his store. The tools that I have been using are SellerAmp SAS, Keepa, Amazon Calculator, Urban VPN, etc.
I also became a video editor for my Indian client, where I managed his YouTube channel, which included uploading videos and replying to comments. I have used Capcut, Filmora, and Adobe Premiere to edit videos.
Right after the end of my freelance contract, I was referred by my Indian client to his company located in Mumbai, India. And I was given a chance to be part of them, where I performed keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO reports, blogs, and SEO metas (including SEO title, SEO description, H1 tags, and image alt text). Although I am the only Filipino in their company, it has never been a problem for me since they talk to me in English and even during group meetings. Well, I have received a lot of praise from them, saying that I am doing well. And it serves as my motivation to work even more. The only reason that I resigned was because I wanted to increase my salary, to be honest, and they knew it; they even knew that their salary was not competitive.
However, when I was still with them, I looked for a freelance job to add some knowledge and earn some money. I applied to a company called Granite Marketing, also known as Residential Builders United. I was with them for almost 9 months, working a 4-hour graveyard shift at a rate of $2 per hour. We’ve been using GoHigh Level to perform all the tasks well.
There comes a time when they inform us to do commission-based work for every appointment or booking per day. The reason was that our client didn’t have enough funds to give us the salary. I was sad for a while after hearing those words; however, I need to move on and find another opportunity, not just for a competitive salary but for my growth, because I believe God knows and plans everything.
Randomly, I saw a Facebook ad post about PinoySEO, which is getting good reviews from its former students. I don’t have any doubt about enrolling in their Bootcamp training for SEO. In the next few months, I am already part of the Bootcamp training for Batch 12. It has been a blessing for me because my knowledge of SEO has been boosted, which makes me more confident about this industry.
